David Noble’s 2 degrees tour is bullfrogpowered™

Toronto, October 28, 2009 — Bullfrog Power, Canada’s 100 per cent green electricity provider, today announced that the 2 degrees speaking series is bullfrogpowered with clean, renewable electricity. The tour, an initiative of 2degressC, a Canadian consultancy dedicated to advancing collective action and transformational change in response to the climate crisis, is spearheaded by its founder and principal David Noble, whose goal is to motivate Canadians to take action against climate change. In total, 23 events will be bullfrogpowered by the end of the tour, which wraps up on November 26, 2009.

Noble, a Bullfrog Power customer for the past two years, brings a unique perspective to his role as founder and principal of 2degreesC. As one of the few people to visit both poles in the past year, he has seen the effects of climate change first-hand. During the speaking series, David will share the inspiring stories he has collected during his travels about the range of choices individual citizens can make to reduce their environmental impact.

All speaking events in Ontario, Alberta, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick are bullfrogpowered with 100 per cent clean, renewable electricity. This means Bullfrog’s generators inject renewable electricity onto the regional grid to match the amount the tour uses. By bullfrogpowering the events, 2degreesC is reducing its environmental impact and helping to advance the development of new renewable generation in Canada.
